I took my gas cap apart to replace the seal on my xj750. I had to wait a few days until I received the seal and I forgot what (if anything) goes in a couple of holes.

The picture I included shows what I'm lost on.

Plus I have a misc ball bearing that I'm not sure where it goes.

    Help me.

The ball bearing goes into the hole that doesn't contain rust in it. Looking at your picture it goes in the one on the right hand side. The other hole nothing goes in. Hope this helps out...
