OK so the bike is running well, but I've noticed that when it's parked there is a slightly gassy smell. I'm not seeing any puddles or any drips. Carbs were just rebuilt at the beginning of the summer. I did line the tank, but didn't notice any leaks before that just some rust inside. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Double check overflows on all the carbs, or if it's coming out through the intakes. Also, look very closely at the petcock, hoses and the screws securing the petcock to the base of the tank. I have a very slow leak there. I had the same thing. I smelled gas in the garage, but could not find any leak. I finally found it by noticing a drop of gas just hanging off the head of one of those screws. It leaks so slowly that it takes a while for that drop to get large enough to fall off.
