Gas Tank compatability - 1982 XJ650

    I need to replace the gas tank on my 1982 Maxim XJ650. Are there other XJ
    series tanks that would fit. I need to keep the tank"authentic" to qualify for collector plates in my province.

    1980-1983 XJ650 Maxim tanks are identical (except paint).

    I understand the 750 Maxim tanks will also bolt right on. Larger tank though.
