Will an early xj750 fuel tank fit on my 85 xj700?
My tank is not bad but I would like to increase the size while keeping a similar look.

    Any Suggestions?

Yes Woot I live in Lower Sackville too. Actually I thought i saw you on the way home today then it turned out to be a Kawi but at first the fairing made me think of your avatar. Where in LS do you live? I'm just up the road from Kent in Sack Estates.

Glendale - next to the sports stadium... The timmies on beaverbank is seconds away.

PM you # and we could arrange a meeting of the bikes!

The avatar - that's my old 600r... I'm actually somewhat interested in a grey market 400r that is around - getting parts for grey bikes is the deal breaker though :( Still - might go look at it.

Sounds more like ten minutes. I drop my daughters off at the stadium continuously.

I recall reading a magazine article on the XJ CD about the 84-85 Maxim XJ700 X and they said the only difference between XJ700 and the XJ700 X are the engines. I don’t think the earlier XJ750 will fit they had different body styles. But check out woots gas tank someday.
