    Heya,

so I bought an Athena gasket kit. Its got everything I need for the engine apparently, but no list of what is in here.

Can you identify the following little rubber bits?
(paper gaskets not depicted cos they I can figure out the shapes
    [IMG]

    To get you started..
1 - Top left corner - The bits that go between the cylinder head and the cylinder block, around the locating dowels
2 - Top right corner - The bits that go around the bottom of each cylinder bore
3 - Bottom right corner - Exhaust bit between the cylinder head and the headers
4 - Bottom right, but in slightly - Valve stem seals

    YOUR TURN>>>>>

    5 - orange bits - ?
    6 - 4 fat rings above the orange bits - ?
    7 - 2 larger rings next to the orange bits - ?
8 - 1 tiny ring next to the larger rings next to the orange bits - ?
9 - 2 smallish rings blow the tiny ring ?
    10 - Bottom right corner (2 rings) ?

    Winner gets a prize!

2 of the black ones are for the oil pump, one will be for the HYVO chain oil sprayer, the really tiny one is for the locking screw on the timing chain tensioner, 4 of the black ones will be for the YICS passages under the rear part of the head... I know I'm missing some, but my memory is a little off right now.

if you check the XJ4Ever catalog to see what all comes with the kit, you should be able to figure it out.
