So my roommate moved out and left me A LOT of room in the garage, so I threw a table out there and decided to be productive.

Since I've torn down the bike I haven't done anything other than clean the hell out of the frame to get all the nastyness off of it, its ready to be sanded and painted. I decided to start polishing the chrome. The exhaust was a bit nasty due to an oil leak and a poorly maintained chain.

I couldn't get one of the damn mufflers off so I threw it in the bathtub, and I'm waiting for it to dry before I polish it up. There's a bit of rust here and there but it looks ten times better than before

The side still attached to the collector is rusted on the bottom pretty bad, not through, but enough to ruin the chrome. There's a hole drilled into the muffler right next to where it clamps and it looks like water, fuel, or something has been dripping out of it and rusting it all the way out to the baffle. Atleast from the sides it will shine.
