So, I cleaned my gas tank with some vinegar and baking soda, and apparently didn't rinse it out enough. Now I have 3 gallons of fresh premium sitting with a bunch of baking soda in it. Any ideas of what I should do with it? Try and filter it maybe?

I would remove the tank, then remove the petcock and flush it out. If the baking soda has settled in the bottom, you can probably use the gas in the tank. Why are you using premium gas anyway?

I already drained it into gas cans. Im just wondering what to do with it now.

Aren't these bikes supposed to run on premium?

regular gas is fine you don't need premium but it wont hurt.

dirty gas = bonfire starter in my book

use it up in your lawnmower. Or clean parts with it (not really recommended.)

Well, I live in the city, so I don't have a lawn, and can't burn much. I'm wondering if I strain it really well, if it I could put a gallon in my truck once in a while

Ask your council, they all have a site to dispose of oil, gas, ect.

The baking soda is insoluble in gasoline and should settle out. Let it sit for a day and either carefully pour, or carefully siphon the gas off of the top, leaving the crud on the bottom. You could filter what's left after siphoning the clean gas, but it may not be worth the time.

Dang that's almost $12 of premo!! +1 to the settle idea, the BS won't be distributed and you should be able to use what remains. Any small amount left could be mixed with your old oil and recycled. It all goes to be filtered and used in heaters for the winter anyway and they don't care what they burn since they burn with large nozzles like a jet engine.

And to your other question most of our bikes prefer 89 RON, unless you ride in really high altitude then use 87.

i would say lawnmower, but if you dont have a lawn, that could be tricky. i wouldnt ru it in your truck. if anything, just throw it away at your local disposal site, where you bring your used oil
