This is a rather sad moment. All good things come to an end, and after five years and 50,000 happy kilometres of XJ ownership I'm packing up the 900s for their new owner. I've really enjoyed owning them, and they have not only been excellent transport but immense fun.
I would also like to thank the members of this forum for some excellent advice and great reading.

Don't feel too sorry for me though. I'm quite enjoying my new GSX1400

    OH, I'M SURE YOU ARE.

Yet another nice nekkid PROPER motorcycle that you rat b*st*rd Aussies get that we don't.

    Looks suspiciously like an XJR1300.

Fitz, I'm amazed you don't get them...but then again I was always amazed that you barely got the 900. XJR1300 was also on my shopping list, but the Suzuki came up first. The 1400 does have the advantage of a slightly bigger frame (or at least it feels like it from the seat) and they don't call me "Big Ross" for nothing.
And Parts, I just checked the map. Is Prescott Valley sort of between the old Route 66 loop and Phoenix? I'm pretty sure I passed through in 1998. (Probably not worth mentioning if you're American, but I'm from a long way away!)

yes,it's "inbetween" but not in a close enough to care way.

90 minutes to phoenix, and 2 hours from flagstaff.

these times are estimates when traviling by cage. not by bike.

sorry we missed you, give a holler if you cross the water again :!:

I sure will. That was a great trip. Arizona and New Mexico just reminded me so much of South Australia! Hot, dry and plenty of ice cold beer!
