    i am proud to say i went from a permitted rider to an endorsed rider today and i did the obstacle course on my xj. this is truely a day to remember.

    I got my license last year about this time, after too many years driving on the permit.

    That's great! Too many riders don't bother to get even the permit, let alone the endorsement.

    Great new Jarred - congrats.

    Mike the endorsement used to be optional in NC but is required now. You can get a permit (one or the other is required) for 18 months and I believe it is renewable (get another permit that is)

    Congrats, I remember getting my endorsement.. Took the MSF Class on a CBR 954RR.... Was interesting none the less.

    I did the same a year ago on my XJ. As soon as I could after she was road worthy. I have rode for many year on dirtbikes, and street bikes without the endorsment figured it was time to go legit. The instructor looked at me and said your going to use that bike??? Wow I used the little 250 to pass mine. Halfway threw the test he said you can do anythin gyou want but lay it down and you can't fail LOL!!!

    when I first got my driver's license, it already had my motorcycle endorsement on it. I have never taken any kind of test but I AM a licensed rider. Go figure.
