I just got home and my carbtuner was here. All the way from England in about a week. Heck i can't get a package from here in the US that quick. Will be checking valves soon so i can go to next step and try out the carbtuner. Don't really have much of a problem with carbs as it is but anxious to see how close they are.

With a YICS tool and the Carbtune you can get them PERFECT. Not close; PERFECT. Then ColorTune; and go back and check 'em with the Carbtune and fine tune to...perfection. As in, idles like a sewing machine and doesn't even crank a full rev after you hit the button before it lights.

(sorry, it's one of my favorite toys.)

Tried it with a homemade sync tool, 2 cylinders at a time and got it right...
I bought the Carbtune 2 years ago, Probably the best tool I've picked up right next to the Colortune. I'm about ready for another set of longer hoses.

I've only had 2 YICS bikes but the YICS tool I got from Chacal was a great addition as well!

which US-manufactured product(s) are you referring to?

One of the factors that drove my decision is the non-fluid construction.

good reasoning, and i am completely unsure of exact name brands but i have seen some on you tube that show complete kits with how to instructions and was wondering what is the value/price/operational differences of the product as compared with others. IF it is NON-FLUID constructed what medium of measurement is used? noted that the device was developed with a mercury free design but am unsure exactly of design difference and comparison analysis.

stainless steel tubes inside plastic housing. Carbtuner Pro came with tool, tubing (black vacuum) smaller clear tubing about 4 inches. Used to insert in larger tubing to restrict vacuum. Also some plastic adapters for some carbs. Came in nice storage case. Pricey, but made for the job. Cost just over $100. delivered.

    Motion-Pro makes a four-tube synch gauge that uses a non-toxic, blue secret-recipie-fluid filled gauge.

We offer the Morgan sticks (Carbtune Pro). Much easier to use. Much.

Is there some kind of advantage to these manometer type set-ups over the regular dial gage types? I have the four bank dial gage set-up. Seems to work fine for me, but I need to replace the hoses. I think the heat in the garage has taken their toll on them as they are constantly cracking and splitting at the connections. But I think I bought them like four or five years ago, and they probably came with cheap hose to begin with. I will probably pick up new hose and start storing the tool inside the house where the AC is running.
