I Was looking into changing my stock handle bars off for something a little more aggressive, but not too much that the bar ends hit the tank. Also, I dont want to get into any major cable length mods.

I read a bunch of posts from the forum already and it seems that the GP Touring or the Daytona bars might be the way to go. I just wanted to hear stories of those who have made these changes that I am considering and their feedback. Any special way that cables need to be rerouted so that I don't need to buy shorter ones or cut any shorter?

I guess it ultimately comes down to me "test driving" the 2 different bars out before committing to the one I like, but want to hear from you all first.

Thanks in advance for any info provided!

    Yes, it is 7/8ths.
Myself I find the stock bars way to high, I decided on Superbike handlebars, with Drag bars a serious second choice. The Superbike bars are on Backorder from Bike Bandit. If those are still too high, I'll try flipping them upside down, like I did for my bicycle back in the day.
The bars may touch the tank, and if so I'll come up with some kind of stick on pad to protect the finish.

if they are anything like my 93 seca
im just going to flip them side to side and remount them
that should be just enuff aggression

or get some honda low bars off an early 80's CBX

i thought of some clip ons
but my idea is to put them as low as possible on the forks
where you are damn near hugging the tank
