Has anyone dealt with Bates cycle parts?

    Bates cycle is located in Copeville TX. Has anyone used them? They are near Dallas and will go over to check them out when I get a chance.

    no, I haven't had a chance to work on my "bike in a box" yet. I do have a question about piston rod length between a 650 and 750 maxim but will post that later.

    Wish I could help you out on this one but i haven't had a chance to check these guys out. I found their website earlier this year and sent them an email "parts request" but never got a reply. I'm in FW so it's just a bit of a long ride just for a looksie to see what they have on hand. Let us know what you find out when you get a chance to make it over there. :)

    Sorry about the delay in responding. Had stayed out for over a month and when I got to the house had too much to do to go to Bates.
    Did you see on craigslist the 2 "82" 750's for $800 in Arlington?

    no problem on Bates. I did see that ad for those 2 bikes several times but the ad didnt show both bikes even though the 2nd bike was a parts bike. The 1st bike didnt look too hot either. I'm broke anyway so it didn't matter. :)
