Well I've put some relays in the circuit to the headlight and now the computer says my headlight is burned out (which logically is right).
How to overcome this annoying problem?

(btw great with the relays - lots of WHITE light)

Here is what I ended up with.
(The dotted lines and diodes is not necessary - but if the relays fails, it will fall back to the original circuit, 0.6 V more dim though.)
It work all right, the 20 ohm resistor burns 7.2 watts, but I can live with that.
I got rid of the red warning light and the bulb fail indicator, but of cause also the possibility of seeing when the bulb is burned out.
AND I got a damn bright light at night.

I'm pretty sure you would notice a headlight bulb being burnt out. Especially if you ever ride at night. Why don't you just cover/remove the offending bulb? Save you watts and soldering.

Well I think it's OK with the warning light if the sidestand is down, low gas etc.
Where I live You should drive with minimum Low beam day and night, so its fine if you could see if the bulb is burned, but i can live with that.
(AND it was a bit fun to figure it out, yes I know I'm a bit ...)
