I've got a 82 xj650. I'm looking to put a different style headlight and bracket on. Maybe the one that has the main headlight with the 2 smaller ones on the side? Anyone ever changed bracket and all?

Do you have a Seca or Maxim XJ650? If a Seca does it have the original large round headlight? Those are pretty much unobtanium these days and very much sought after these days.
My Seca had an awful square headlight when I bought it in 1999 and has worn a 7 inch round headlight from a first generation SV650 since then. It is likely a better light anyway.
If you are set on changing out to something unusual you might consider the smaller, side by side Buell headlights. They are said to be inexpensively available at Harley dealers. I am not sure what "inexpensive" really is though.
    Good Luck,
    John

Inexpensive at a Harley dealership means no third mortgage on the house!
