    UK that is.
Replied to a couple of posts so thought an introduction would be good.
Had various bikes throughout my life, including XJ750, XJ900, now got a couple of XS1100's and an up and running XJR1200 and another single seater/cafe racer type thing work in progress.
I had the 750 and 900 when i was a London based courier or manic messenger (despatch rider)
Great site and look forward to reading and contributing to the forum in any way i can.
Here's my XJR1200 and one of my XS's can be seen in one of my first posts.
    All the best.

I think there will be several people who are very upset - just because your bike is not for sale in their country!!!

You BRITS! are so lucky! WE "yanks" don't get the cool bikes that you "blokes" do. Welcome from the coolest place on the whole planet, LAS VEGAS NEVADA! Don't worry about that "biker wannabe" stuff ,it'll go away as you post more and more.

OK then, can't you import a bike into the States from UK, Europe or Australia?
The way i got mine was to make it up from bits from old FJ11's and 12's plus buying bits from eBay. FJ engines are the same apart from the main axle shaft and the clutch push rod, but both parts interchange as the crankcases are the same for the FJ and XJR.
The forks regularly get changed from the standard XJR items to something like R1's, ( or Thundercats maybe?) Even the swingarms get swapped out for something else, can't remember what at the moment.
Just importing a frame and a tank and you'd be halfway there considering the other bike's parts availability in the States.
    Gotta be worth thinking about.

We're not talking about going to some other country to buy one and ship it back, we are talking about what gets sent here from Yamaha and other makers.
