    I am looking for a wiring harness for a 1982 xj650 that or someone to make one for me all i need to wire is everything to make the bike start and run a headlight and brake/tailight getting pretty desperate if you have the parts or knowledge please call or text me at 509-948-1637

    Your best bet is to contact ONE M.C. BoneYard that is hooked-up to their Nation-wide Sat-feed.

    You let the BoneYard know you want a '82 YAM-Max Wiring Harness.
    They take your order and a boat-load of Breakers send them a contnact sheet and price.

    Expect to pay for the Harness.
    Copper is at record high prices.

    Do you want a full Maxim harness or do you want a "minimum wiring diagram?"

    That information is all over this site in a half a dozen places. Do a forum search on "basic wiring" if all you need are the basics.

    Yellow pages works. Start hitting up whatever motorcycle salvage yard is closest to you. If that doesn't work, hop on the net and see what else is out there.
