    Just found this vid randomly while browsing the web. Out of all I've watched this is by far the most helpful, straight to the point video. If anyone is confused, just starting to get into carbbed bikes (like the XJ's!) hope this will help

    This looks like a two stroke carb example like I had on my old Kawasaki triples.

    Carbs with cable operated slides are similar to ours, but not enough that you can work on an XJ carb with that knowledge and fully understand what you're doing.
