The XJ700X with a 5 valve engine has Mikuni carbs. The XJ750 J/RJ has Hitachi carbs. All parts would be different. The Mikuni parts are hard to find being that Yamaha only made the bike for 2 years.
No there is no 700RJ. In 84 the Seca was only sold in Canada for North America. It was the XJ750RL. Here is how the models break down:
    1981 XJ750RH = Seca; XJ750H = Maxim
    1982 XJ750RJ = Seca; XJ750J = Maxim
    1983 XJ750RK = Seca; XJ750K = Maxim
1984 XJ750RL = Seca; XJ750L = Maxim Sold only in Canada. No USA XJ available. MK would denote the Midnight model trim and LR would denote the Turbo model. Same system for other engine sizes. i.e. 1982 XJ650RJ Seca.
In 1985 and 86 the 700cc models came out in response to the tariff imposed by Harley Davidson via Congress. These were as follows and only available in Maxim models:
    1985 XJ700N aircooled w/ Hitachi carbs; XJ700XN water cooled w/Mikuni's
    1986 XJ700S aircooled w/ Hitachi carbs; XJ700XS water cooled w/Mikuni's
The 550c models had Mikunis. Jets would be different but other parts may interchange.
