    Hi Everyone, I'm derick and I've had some XJ experience over the years. Recently I grabbed an 82 Seca 650 for farting around town. My usual road bike is a kawasaki concours, but I wanted something to jet around on without pulling out the Enterprise.

    So, if this place anything like my site, the thread is worthless without pictures.

    Prior to buying my concours, I rode a Seca 750 for years. Was the first bike I took a passenger on, and while not entirely comfortable on distance runs, it was very very reliable.

    And finally, I've actually been out of riding for about 2 years now on personal reasons. Additionally, the connie has had some issues which I just now corrected after about a grand in cash, but this is my baby;

    Welcome to the site !! The 650 should be just as reliable, and is alot more rare than the 750.

    In case you didn't know - rear delamination check and front brake rebuild are advised.
