Honda carb question?

    Hey all I put a 92-94 ? model cbr engine on my xj and The carbs are really close to my frame with the velocity stacks installed,My question is can or will this engine run properly if I remove them and add a homade air box?? Im really not familiar with crotch rocket type engine performance any info would be appreciated. Thanks

    wow! what an awesome mod- pics please. as far as the carbs go, are velocity stacks the same as cv carbs? I would think if you made a pvs intake it would be close-ish to stock but would require some tuning..... if the seca 2 carbs are anyth8ing likie the cbr's then it should work, because if you look in the mods- people have been building custom intakes for their bikes
