Honda Carbs on my xj650

    Well as i needed my bike for a rallie this weekend i have put my old honda cb650sc carbs on my xj and it nows runs great

    PS the old carbs have a rounded off pilot scew and would not tick over so till i find some the honda ones are on to stay :) LOL :)

    Resourceful! I'm just not fond of the Honda's atmospheric vent system, they're expensive to replace when they rot out.

    just come back from a little ride out and the bike went fine can not realy say if they are better as the yam ones did not work LOL but its like S**t off a stick now

    which XJ are you talking about here? The 900, 750, 650, 550?? I saw three full sets of XJ550 carbs on eBay this morning...

    nice. I like your 650. I was looking on eBay and found all kinds of parts for the 650.......why can't there be that many parts on there for the 550? Perhaps a lot of the 650 parts will work with the 550. hmmmm All the shaft drive components are rather cheap on there, wonder if I can convert to shaft drive on the 550?
