    1st time in 4 years that I have my bike totally legal.Spanking new tires,new brakes front and back,and Pa state inspection,registration,insurance.Go me.Thanks to xjbikes for giving me the courage to do most of the work myself except for mounting and balancing of the tires.Toot my own horn.beep beep. ps Ride safe people are not yet looking for bikes on the road.Could have been ugly except for the fact that I watch cagers and always assume they don't see me. :twisted:

    I agree. This site has given me a lot of information about bikes in general. And the courage to tackle alot of things myself.

    Case in point, I just changed my own rear tire. The tire irons cost around $20 and the lowest price I could find to have it done at a shop was $30.

    And I have two more tires to change on my Nighthawk restore project. (Hold the boo's and cat-calls please, I am keeping the XJ and selling the CB)
