Running two Petcocks doubles your chance of contaminating your Engine Oil with Gasoline.

Why don't you consider running the line from the 2nd Petcock long enough to reach the Carb Fuel Inlet and seal it off.

You get the Cosmetic effect of Dual Petcocks without the doubled-up contamination factor.

Something goes wrong with the Primary Petcock ... you swap lines, plug the one with the leak-by and Keep-On-Truckin'!

Thanks, Great idea! I would have never thought of doing that . just too simple.

But I still needto know if I need a T and where all the lines hook up?

fuel going into the carbs goes into one hose. You are going to need a T connector to hook up both. There are quite a few lines on these carbs. The correct one goes into the carbs between the number 2 and 3 carb. The lower hose is the correct one. The rest of the lines are for either ventont to the atmosphere or overflow. Let me see if I can get a pic of it for you.

Could you post up a pic of how you are goint to attach that tank to the bike. I am looking for added capacity for my 700 as well. I am definately interested in what would fit on this bike and how it looks. Thanks

This is how I will mount the xs tank. I welded a bracket I will also weld one on the frame also. The rear mount fits perfict when the old mount is cut off. I also fliped the stock bars. they look great and don't hit the tank.
