Does any one have one of these? While tearing my bike down (doing a resto) I lost a rear damper for my exhaust. It looks like a recessed washer with a rubber ring glued to it (see pics below). I know,,,,just use a washer with a rubber spacer on it. But it would not be the same to me. Thanks guys and gals.

You might check with Big Jim over at Houston Cycle Salvage in Pasadena. I walked his lot last week and he had 6 or more XJ's. Most had one or more pipes still on them.

Sam over at Union Cycle Salvage in Houston only had one XJ750 Seca. I believe it still had the stock exhaust as a friend pulled it to get a few parts off of it.

Hot Dam, Richard, not only are you a fellow Texan, your also close by! I have been looking for a xj brother near by since I joined this post. Out here in Cleveland it is nothing but hawg herders if you know what I mean. Yup Big Jim sold me my first scoot some 20 years ago. As a matter of fact, when they where on Shaver street, all I had to do is hop the fence in my back yard and I was right in the middle of the salvage yard. I wonder if Tigger is still there? 6 or more xj,s in one spot running or not sounds a little like heven on earth to me. We going have to meet up some time and shoot the bull, and thanks for the heads up. P S I also pm this message in case your not following this thread.

Can some one please help me. I am ready to put my exhaust on but I can not find this one part pictured above. Dig deep in all your coffee /parts cans, I am sure some one has one just laying around. Went to the salvage yard today no dice.

I was at Union yesterday. No new arrivals. That Seca 750 is still there though, pretty rough. I think It may have had one pipe on it.

If this is the Part that Affixes the Muffler to the Aluminum Bracket that the Rear Footpeg Mounts too,...

    Mine rattled something fierce.

So, ... I "Improved upon" the design. I used a Big O-ring inserted in the Bracker, ... followed by a Nylon Washer ... followed by a Stainless Washer ... and Bolted-up with a Stainless Allen Bolt.

    No vibrations.
    No rattles.
