    Hi Guys,
I would like to share some of my work but I am having trouble figuring out how to put up photos on the thread and how to do the avitar. I am not completely ignorant when it come to computer stuff but this one is giving me some trouble.
I heard that having your pictures in Photobucket.com helps so I did that but now what. Can someone out there give me a hand with this?
    Thanks in advance....

Best way: make photobucket account and copy/paste the clickable thumbnail links it can generate into a post.

The built in photo option is limited in size and space.

You can also imbed reasonably-sized images in your posts directly from Photobucket, like this:

Copy the web address from your photobucket photo that you want to put into the post.

[EDIT-I was trying to explain how to embed the photo but I couldn't get it to work, LOL, so I gave up after the fourth try-BRAINFART!]

or you can insert the link to your photo account:
    TSKAZ FLICKR

    or

If you want to upload to the site (not as easy) then you would add the file at the bottom of the post and click "add attachment" but the pic needs to be resized to less than 500 pixels

    Reasonably sized, outrageously sexy.

I never get tired of looking at that bike.

Well, it didn't put the picture but there is a link to the picture. Now if someone can tell me how to get the actual photo on here that would be cool. :)

Just resize your picture to 500 pixels and attach it to your post. If it is bigger then 500 it will look like its going to attach itself but wont

    Upload pictures. Save and continue.

(Without changing default settings like I did), Select the file(s) you want to post using the little check box under the pictures when you MOUSEOVER them.

Go to the bottom of the page. Click the "Choose Action" drop down link. Select "Generate link codes for selected".

In the "IMG for bulletin boards & forums" section, select ether full size or thumbnail sized links. (It should auto-copy if you click in the area). LARGER pictures should be posted using the thumbnails.

Inside you post, paste the code copied from photobucket. Use forum posting preview button to make sure it worked correctly before "submitting" the post.

Well you figured out how to upload. :)

After the uploading batch is done, a green box appears. Click the "save and continue to my album" link.

When you mouse over a picture a box with a few things appears. Click the checkbox in the upper left side of this new info box. This selects the picture.

Scroll down to the bottom of the WEB PAGE.

Click the "Choose Action" drop down link (there is a little down arrow next to the link). Select "Generate link codes for selected".

In the "IMG for bulletin boards & forums" section of the window that appears in the middle of your web browser, click inside the white "clickable thumbnail" or "full size" box with all the weird computer gibberish. (It should auto-copy if you click in the area). LARGER pictures should be posted using the thumbnails.

Inside you xjbikes.com post, paste (hit Control and V if using windows) the code copied from photobucket. Use the forum's posting preview button to make sure it worked correctly before "submitting" the post.
