depends on if you change the filter too but it's close. Best bet is put it on the center stand - pour 2 quarts in and let it settle. Then top off until the oil is just below the top of the sight class.

Run the engine for a few seconds let it sit about 10 minutes and check/adjust the level.

No problem - one other thing make sure hte oil you use does NOT have friction modifiers. Not good for the clutch and starter clutch.

I believe that amount is if you do not change the filter. I did change my filter and I put in exactly 2.5L. It was no where near the bottom of the sight glass. I have since topped it off several times to get the oil level stable at the top of the sight glass. I believe 3L is closer to what you will end up adding if you change the filter.

It will say if it has additives like high mileage or makes engine last longer....

Take a good read of the bottles. Also dealer gets about $9 for a filter. I find them at advance auto for 4.50 with both o rings around here.

Post up you location too - may be someone close by to help or ride with.

it says "recommended for four stroke motorcycles, air or watercooled, with or without a wet cluch and an integrated gearbox. 3000 utilizes high heat, shear stable polymers to maintain the optimum lubricating film. 3000 uses a superior detergent/dispersant additive that helps to prevent deposits while keeping engine parts clean. 3000 contains extremely effective anti-wear, anti-oxidation and anti-foam additives plus two levels of extreme pressure additives to extend gearbox life

Should be fine since it says safe for wet clutch.
