    Hi,
I am riding an xj600 (FJ600 in the states)
I had a clutch bearing fail, so I decided to drop the pan to look for any parts that fell through the hole. I thought I would give the screen a quick clean but I don't see how to take it off. Does anyone have any idea? It looks like it is pressed on, but I was afraid to use force on it.

Anything else I should do while I'm down there? It looks like the o-rings on the pressure relief valve and oil level sensor are ok.

A word of advice: it's easy enough to drop the pan, but scraping the gasket off of the upper surface isn't easy, even with a lift. o_O

    Thanks, Michael

Screen snaps on and there is a bolt behind that to remove housing.

Thanks, that's what I suspected. Do you need to use a screwdriver to pry it off?
