Hi ya'll, im new to this site but not new to riding and working on yamahas, so i figured i would do a little introduction. I have used your forums as a guest many times while restoring my 82 XJ750j and appreciate everything!!! I hope i can help contribute also!

I run my own motorcycle shop here in lincoln, Nebraska out of my garage, I have been a mechanic for over 7 years (car, trucks, semi tractors and trailers, you name it ill fix it lol, no school just grew up learning to fix everything with what tools and parts i have available.

Got my first bike from my aunt which as given to her by my dad when my parents got divorced, (honda cm200ct) it sat for 15 years in a barn with 5k miles :) Restored it to almost new and sold it with a nice profit. I started riding when i was 16 or so when my buddy threw me on his 92 YZ125, been addicted every since. Had many 2 smoke Yamahas and do believe them to be the best bikes EVER!!! they may be a little more technical to work on but last the longest, have the pest performance and suspension around and need minimal maintenance (comparability speaking, dang honda valve tappets :p)

I built and maintain our own trails at my grandparents, renting a bobcat soon and currently working on a 12-15 foot mobile ramp. I have a hard time working a "normal job", i have Epilepsy and my seizures cause alot of memory loss and slow loss of brain cells. (im sure the dirtbike wrecks with no helmet back in the day didnt do any good either lol) At one point it was so bad i couldnt remember what i ate for dinner the night before, but i never forgot how to ride or anything about my bikes :)

only had my XJ750 for not even a year, and wont ever get rid of it!!!! If it isnt raining or snowing im on my bike, i dont care if its 16 below as long as there is no precipitation lol. But like everyone i get caught in the rain occasionally so i usually spend 4 or 5 hours cleaning and shinning my bike the next day (a clean bike is a happy bike!) Anyways just thought id say hi and what not, and go 49ers!!!
