    My name is Dermot, though you'd never guess from my username :D

    I just acquired a 1985 XJ 700 and am going to do it up over the winter. I have found a few issues with it that I will probably be expanding upon over the coming months through here so hopefully you all will be able to help me out.

    Welcome! As you may have probably noticed by now, this site has a seemingly endless supply of info and techincal advice. Advice - Read every technical writeup in here.

    Most importantly, we not only bounce info and ideas off each other, but provide that motivation to keep pushing through and fix that annoying electrical, carb, or shifting problem; instead of tarping it behind the garage.
