I think my girls left blinker is retarded

    I noticed with bikes that the most troublesome things seem to be easiest thing overlooked...

    So, my girlfriend just bought an 1981 XJ650 Maxim, and the left side blinkers dont work, but the right side does?

    Any suggestions?

    Had a similar problem with my 750 -- turned out to be a semi-loose connector off one of the turn signal stalks. Pull the male bullet connector out, tighten the other connector with pliers, reconnect the male connector. Do this front and rear, and see what happens.

    If that doesn't help, check the sockets for corrosion.
