All the literature tells me that stock idle jets for an 82 XJ750 Seca should be #40, yet every carb rack I've pulled apart for Canadian spec machines (and I must be up to almost a dozen now) has been equipped with #43s. Perhaps someone informed Yamaha that its tough to get these beasts started at near-freezing without a little extra enrichment? I'll be doing a clean and rebuild on another rack right away - guess I should check for differences in the air jets too.
    Ideas?

edit: should have checked Chacal`s info before posting, 43s correct for canspec Seca 750 - different air jets than US model too. Likely the result of differing emissions requirements?
