Ignition interchangeability

    Location:
    Winchester, VA
    FZR, Fazer, FZ, Maxim/n/x, YX ignitions. Are they interchangeable? I've got a chance at both a yx600 and an fz750 for a combined $400 for both, and both are titled.

    The FZ is missing the ignition, and I have two maxim/n/x ignitions

    google is your friend. try to find pics of the missing one. but i doubt it's interechangeable. i know mine isn't interchangeable. i seem to have the only ignitor box with 4 pins in each connector. most of them have 5 pins in one connector and 4 in the other.

    when i was at the boneyard. they had 5 milk crates of yamaha ignitor boxes i had to go through to find one.
