Anybody ever messed with their ignition timing to adjust performance? I have done this to cars but the bike is fixed. I have seen aftermarket parts for some bikes to advance or retard the timing.

I always wondered the same myself. I'm thinking of moving the pickup coil a few degrees forward to advance the timing a bit. It SHOULD make a difference, but is it recommended? Haven't heard much information on the idea here so far, but I'm sure we aren't the only ones who thought of it.
Anyone have some answers? Buhler? Buhler?
