Im having a starting/ idle probloem

    Ok so my dad gave me a 1982 seca 650 10 years ago and he does not know i still have it. So im rebuilding it for him. WEll i got the jets for the carb in yesterday and after cleaning and putting back together it will only start with starting fluid but it will run at a super high idle untill i shut it off. im not sure what to look at if anyone could help that would be great.

    Your Dad will be thrilled! Check out all the related threads in the Sticky section, take it step by step and you should be able to figure it out. If that doesn't work, take it to a decent mechanic.
