in tank fuel filter

    bought a couple of filters from len (xj4ever) the other week and finally got around to fitting one. len states in his parts listing that "your change over from run to reserve may alter due to the new filter", what i wasn't expecting was the increased range i got from the new filter.
    I filled my tank as per normal and ran the bike the same as i do every other day but my change point went from about 240 to 280 kilometers to 340 before i went to reserve and tonight when i got home i had 381 kilometers showing on the odometer and still going.
    it will be interesting to see what range i get on a good country run before i change to reserve and or run out of fuel. small jerrycan will be coming along to get me to the next service station.

    Defenitly have that can with you. With the Increased range before going to reserve means less range once on reserve. Sounds like a good reason/excuse to go riding anyways.
