Info on a Sissy Bar and Saddle Bags for a 1982 XJ550 Maxim??

    Hello everyone,
    I would like to get a sissy bar and small saddle bags for my 1982 XJ550 but I have not been able to find any out there. Can anyone help? Would love to buy them new but if someone has some used that are in good shape I may be interested in those as well.
    Does anyone know where I can get these for my bike?

    I know years ago they made sissybars for all makes/models of bikes, but it'll be hard to find them anymore. You can keep an eye on Ebay or Craigs list and maybe get lucky, who knows.
    If it were me, I'd just make my own sissybar out of 1/2" square stock and paint it or get it chromed.
    The saddlebags shouldn't be too hard to find and mount. I got a pair of leather bags (smaller ones) and made my own mounts using aluminum plates bolted to the rear frame rails. It worked out perfect.

    I have a luggage rack/ sissy bar that came on my '81 XJ550 Maxim that I'm not going to use. Make me an offer I cant refuse and it will be yours. I will send you some pics later if you're interested.
