integrated gauges/headlamps???

    After going to lower bars on my 81 xj650 - I kinda would like to do something to lower the profile of the gauges. I could go with mini gauges i guess, but part of me would like to hide as much of the wiring as possible... i was thinking maybe one of those old style headlamps with the gauge built in/mounted?

    Has any done anything like this? Are there aftermarket solutions or would I have to retro fit a bucket from a different bike - and if so whats out there that might work? Thanks for any info!
