Is an xj750 '82 seca front fairing cowl nose clip compatible with an '81 of the same model?

I'm trying to install a small windshield on my '81 XJ 750 seca and found a '82 part. Do y'all know if it will fit?

    Here is the part below.

If that's the fork-mounted fairing than it's a direct fit for all years of 750 Seca, except for the '84.

That example is missing the headlight mount and the fairing mounting brackets.

There are other options if all you're after is to have a windscreen, and do not need to have the factory fairing.

Thanks, k-moe. I went ahead and ordered it partially because I want factory parts if possible. But shoot, if I'm missing the mounting brackets I may need to order something a little more accessible. It's hard to find factory parts these days. But yeah, at the end of the day I'm just trying to get a windscreen so I can enjoy highway rides a little more. I'll see if the body guys can come up with something.

There are lots of aftermaket options, depending on how big of a wondscreen you want.
I run a Slipstreamer Spitfire, with a shop-made extension at the top. The whole setup cost about what just the mounting brackets for the Yamaha fairing goes for.
