    I am in the process of changing out an old broken primary chain guide on my 82 750rj seca. Now when i saw this i had to take a picture , are these crank shafts supposed to be drilled out like this i reckon not?
    OH! and r these bearings by the out put shaft supposed to have 2 clips per bearing cuz i only have 1 per bearing except the shaft that holds the gears/clutch on, tyhat has 2.

    stevo, Most every crankshaft I've ever seen has had some drilling/milling on the counter balances. More so on professionally balanced shafts. Without it, the engine would likely vibrate itself to pieces. As for the clips? I don't know, but if you wait a bit I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me will pipe in to help.
