    well i got my bike for 500 over the last 5 months i replaced a lot of things right down to braided brake lines still have to get around to cutting some lower frame out due to rust and replacing it spent about 2300 all up and i got a bike that looks like 1200 bucks at the most lol

    These bikes require a lot of re commissioning work which takes time and money. I have found that if you go through all that you better plan on making it your "Keeper" because it's all about the ride not the money.

    i havnt even got my higher cc licence lol legaly i can only ride upto 650cc im a bit broke at the moment its winter here i pretty much have to wait until i pay off my credit card until i can tackle the engine pull and pay someone 200 bucks to weld a new bar into the frame buy then it will most likely be summer lol i have hardly ridden this bike i just get obsessed with the challenge i dread once i do the engine pull and a lick of paint as somebody else said the green gremlin going to take over and every slightly tarnished thing i put back in not going to be good enough

    There are some engine out of frame restoration/custom jobs here that blow me away on the time and money invested. Love to see the bikes coming back to life after a teardown like that.
