Well, I'm at it again. While waiting for paint to dry on brake parts, I decide to power wash the bike. All goes well until I go to put the bike on the center stand and SNAP goes the back seat grab bar. I'm finding them for around $30-$40 including shipping, which I guess is the price to pay for a stupid mistake on my part (I didn't put in the bolts at the very back of the bar).

Question is...I hate to waste the other grab bar that I JUST bought. Will JBWeld hold it together sufficiently to be safe, and keep as a spare, or do I just chuck it?

remove the bar, mend it with a good epoxy till set THEN... put a thin metal strap behind the fracture with screws for added strength.
These bikes are not worth much, why spend $ when you dont have too?

Point taken. One more question. I've found the bolts in the parts diagram...but can't find the dimensions of it...it's the bolts at the back of the grab bar. What size?? 3/8?

And yes, thanks...I saw that one on eBay...and a couple of others close to that price.
