been having running problems when under load, just like a misfire, after removing carbs for the 3rd time found cyc2 spring loaded jet needle inside piston not returning ie spring not pushing it back to stop, rest working ok

    1) how would that make the engine run with one needle jet stuck in up position and why is it spring loaded ??

2)the next thing is what size main jet should i fit when changing air filters to k&n type size now is 107. ??

I would keep it as stock as possible. Changing the filter is going to cause more problems than it's worth. I had a foam Uni filter installed by po and went back to the stock filter and it runs better. The engineers that designed and built the bike knew what they were doing.
