JX700N Fork Seals Swap- dampener remover

    anybody have a good at home method for removing the dampener screw? i have been wandering around the garage trying different things and i cant get enough grab.

    i probubly need to better explain that.... i have the t-socket i cant seem to get anything to grip the dampener "nut" in the fork it self

    hey ive gotta do my front fork seals ive bought the seals just not sure on how to do it ive got the stantion out of the leg but wot next how do i refill the shock do i have to undo the hex nut at the top and put the oil in there? or does it just go in the leg?

    ok well i ended up making a tool to remove it ... not quite like the square tube... i diddnt have any... i used a piece of all-thread 3 nuts and 3 washers.. i used my bench grinder to cut notches into the largest washer at a 45 deg angle so it would seat better.... it locked right in and came out... i almost diddnt continue untill i saw the bottom screw was seeping from having twisted it trying to get it out oh well one more copper washer down.

    the arrangement on the all-thread is (nut)(nut)(sm washer)(lgwasher)(smwasher)(nut)

    the two tops nuts are forced agains each other to bind and lock the assembly. (ill post picts later)
