Knock sensor XJ Turbo

Hi all
Wire fell off the knock sensor today,corrosion did its work well, fixing it would'nt be a problem except i have two wires at the plug end merging into what i can only describe as something resembling a coax cable i.e. white wire is inside the grey wire (i'll load a pic up later) I pretty much .figured that one is a ground wire but what concerns me is there was only one round electrical conector that fitted by means of a small screw to the knock sensor, can't get a replacement so a repair is the only option, does anyone know which wire goes where or can anyone give a clear photo of their knock sensor with the wiring insitu (hopefully corrosion free) so i can get an idea of what goes where

For those that might need to know the white wire is the only one connected to the knock sensor the grey wire is not connected and is covered by the short section of rubber insulation at the end by the connector.(not the rubber boot)
