I have an 83 Maxim 650. I resently cleaned my carbs, and installed a new air filter and plugs. Looking at the various home built YICS tools I used a long piece of fuel line on a rod to block the vaccum ports and synchonized the carbs. The bike starts great with the choke and runs well once fully warmed up. In order to pull out from a stop for the first miles or so I have to put on a little choke or it won't take gas until I am rolling. Any suggestions on what I have screwed up?

    You answer your own question.

You have to Open the Enrichment ... right?

Well ... Permanently Open the Enrichment by turning the Pilot Mixture Screws OUT, some more, and bring-up some additional fuel ... without having to borrow any from Enrichment "Choke" System!
