"Latest Forum Posts" not showing up.

    No, but I wish I could turn them off. I keep several XJBikes tabs open at all times (mostly carb stuff). Those scrolly things increase my total system CPU load by over 25%.

    Sure, I could right-click on each on in each tab every time I restart Firefox, but that's a lot of work compared to just turning them off.

    (They are some sort of Flash thing, by the way.)

    I.E. 8.0 has some issue with the way the scrolling works.
    on mine, there is a button just to the right of the address window called "compatibilty view"
    If you click that, they will scroll as it used to...

    IF that is the problem you are talking about!

    Also, rhys - and this just explained my problem - I have found that I can turn them off by clicking on the title "Latest Forums Posts" in Firefox. That might help.

    Motorduck: I'm also using Firefox on a Mac. I just tried it and it works on this tab. Is it permanent? Or do you have to do it every time?
