    Hi,
Just wondering if someone had the scoop on these,

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=181324685450&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:AU:1123

Was wondering if someone else had fitted one and if it had any glare issues for oncoming traffic like the HID rubbish.

Looks like it might need an alteration to the rear of the headlight shell too... especially if that little fan wants any air I suspect.
30W compared to 60/55W seems like a bit of a win for the ole charging system if it works out, you'd think.

I asked the question to the seller if they were street-legal in Australia and was told that they were... "pinch of salt" but again, if anyone knows I'd appreciate it.

Next question: how many lumens does the stock bulb put out?

This is for the modular lights of SOME of the XJs. From the Daniel Stern website, it looks like a US DOT 55/60w H4 is 1000/1650 lumens. That is the bulb, independent of reflector and lense. Worthy reading at Daniel Stern and Len's headlight section. Lumens is not the only, or even most important, factor. I, too, am curious about an LED upgrade for the headlight, but I just haven't seen anything convincing yet.

Any update on these, I need to replace my bulb but was thinking something like this might work out better.
