    Hello,

I was curious if it was possible to install an LED headlight on and 83 XJ750. I know the blinkers have top have a certain amount of resistance in order for the flasher to work but would an aftermarket headlight affect that? I'm hoping I can get a little more output at night and maybe wake up some of the cagers during the day too.

If you still have the ATARI it is same issue with the tail light, not enough resistance and it will show on the ATARI as headlight fault , you would need a resistor ... can't say what reading you would need.

I have mixed feelings on the LED headlight. The one I tried is great at night, but appears less effective during the day because of the way the bulb is designed. I need to test further to be sure, but that is my initial opinion.

I believe the OP has an XJ750K, which no longer uses the CMS (Atari) so that should not be an issue.
