Left casing question

    So I just replaced my 80 650 maxim motor. It doesn't want to go Into gears and pops in neutral in a few gears under loads. Came home and pulled the shifter casing off the old motor to see If maybe it was something I could fix. Problem lies that I was going to rebuild my other motor, but I can't figure out where the latches and gears all sit in the casing. Anyone have a diagram on how the inside gears all sit?
