Does anyone have any experience with these light-sensitive visor inserts?:

How dark do they get, and how fast? Do they clear up quickly also? How long do they last? Worth the money?

My glasses get dark under direct sun, but they're often shaded enough in the helmet not to darken much - so, I'm looking for another alternative. I'd prefer to avoid the expense of prescription sunglasses, and I'd like these visors more than clip-ons if they work.

If it matters, I have a clear visor now.

Hand't seen those yet. If you test 'em out, let us know!

Personally, I wear contacts, so it's no biggie for me to throw on some sunglasses inside the helmet, but a photo grey face shield could be pretty cool.

Is this thing a clingy type? If so - I hate those things! It seems like you always get an air bubble, or they just don't have the clarity that a purpose made visor has. I have the shoei mirror visor. It was well worth the $50. I do ALL of my riding in the day - so I just leave it on all the time.

I personally feel that if it is daytime, then having a tinted shield stay dark shouldn't be a big deal even in the shade. I still wear my sunglasses in the shade though.

Well, I've ordered it and I'll let you know how it affects the clarity. If it makes my view less clear overall, I'll ditch it. I would hate that also.
